For this Sunday here’s what you can do: Let your wife know you thank God for her being a mother.
In the past I have written “This Sunday at Church: Encourage a mom with any of these seven biblical truths.”
We should be grateful to God for our mothers.
For those who are married to a wife that is the mother of your children, that’s also someone else we should thank God for.
I think about my own wife.
She’s been a wife that has to put up with some crazy things with ministry.
I don’t think she has an easy job. I have put her through a lot with my ministry. I don’t think many can go through some of the things she’s been through.
May we thank God for our wife and let us also let us tell her that.
Amen to this!
Aww thanks!

Well said Jim – thankful for mothers and in particular for your own wife. The US Mother’s day being different from the UK one is an opportunity to have a wee laugh winding up our kids. Yet it is a serious point worth re-inforcing that Mother’s (and Fathers too) are much more valuable than one day on the calender.
When is the UK’s Mother’s Day?
It was Sunday 19th March this year 😁
Thanks for this good exhortation! Yup, we need to let the moms in our life know we appreciate them.
Amen! Any plans for Mother’s Day today???
Our oldest son and granddaughter are joining my wife and I and our youngest son for a Kentucky Fried Chicken dinner.
What are your plans?

Thank you for visiting here! Are you guys doing anything for mothers’ day today?
My wife and I enjoyed time with our daughter’s English Lab while they were away.
