It’s Sunday Morning.  I know sometimes ministry is not easy.  So here’s another little motivation from the Word of God for preachers before you enter your pulpit and teachers before you go in to instruct your class.

Today’s post comes from 1 Timothy 4:10=

For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.

1 Peter 5:1-3 states

Therefore, I exhort the elders among you, as your fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partaker also of the glory that is to be revealed, shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; nor yet as lording it over those allotted to your charge, but proving to be examples to the flock.

Peter has for us instructions of what Church elders are to be like.  But what is the motivation for preachers, teachers and leaders to put them into practice?

In our day of age of the media, fa fair trial is not always easy.  The media says it, therefore it must be true is the attitude today but this can be dangerous in a time where our media has been caught in down right fraudulent lies.

In light of this, our attitude should be one of being critical.  The above link is a link that asks for caution before jumping to the conclusion about the teacher who allegedly burned a painful cross on his student, and also provides the greater context of what happened.
