Killer Angel

This book was written by George Grant, a Christian author who has also written on other works dealing with abortion and the history of abortion. This particular work focuses on the biography of Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood which today is one of the largest provider of abortion. It’s not just a biography–it goes into the ideology that drove Sanger, and readers would be shock by her eugenics and social Darwinian worldview. Her worldview also shows itself also in her personal life. I appreciated Grant’s research into Sanger’s own writings and the writings of her friends and associates who worked with her. This book documents Sanger’s racist view and agenda in population control.

I think it’s so ironic that organizations that supports efforts in ending Breast cancer would donate money still to organizations that commit abortions.

WINTERY KNIGHT

From Life News.

Excerpt:

new study published in the Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention in February reported a very statistically significant increased risk of breast cancer for women with previous abortions as opposed to women who have never had one.

The study, consisting of 1,351 women and led by researcher Ai-Ren Jiang, reported a statistically significant 1.52-fold elevation in risk for women with induced abortions and a “significant dose-response relationship between (the risk) for breast cancer and number of induced abortions,” meaning the risk climbed with a higher number of previous abortions.

For premenopausal women who have had abortions, the numbers were relatively small, and the observed 16% risk elevation was not statistically significant. However, for those with three or more abortions, the risk climbed to a statistically significant 1.55-fold elevation.

“The results have revealed that induced abortion was related to increased risk of breast caner. Premenopausal…

I meant to write a review of this book earlier, with better memory of the reading rather than two years after finishing the book! In light of the importance of the abortion issue even being more so with the election season and Planned Parenthood being on the news, it’s important that I review this work as a Christian resource to equip the believers with the issue. The author is a Christian bio-ethicist who writes this work for Evangelicals as his primary audience, though of course those who are not Christians will benefit from his content as well in making a case for the unborn as a human person. He even have a chapter presenting the case for Christianity summarized. This book is excellent for contemporary discussion about abortion, with the author devoting a chapter (chapter four) discussing the issue of Embryonic Stem Cell Research (ESCR) as well. The first part of the book presents the prolife argument very well, beginning with the need of clarifying the debate by focusing on what the issue really is about, and then asking what is the unborn, whether human beings are valuable, etc. For those who have been involved in the abortion debate, one realizes that all kinds of objections are thrown against the prolife position and this book is helpful addressing some of these objections and popular side topics. In fact, this section of the book is the biggest portion of the book. Klusendorf ends the book with a section of how to act for the cause of the unborn, such as what pastors can do and how Christians can be involved with prolife with others without compromising their faith. Worth the read–and perhaps for me, a second read of this book again to refresh the memory and the arguments.

Pastor Chuck apparently recommended abortion to Nicki from Riverside who is pregnant with conjoined twins. A wise pastor once told his church to remove him not when he becomes 80 years old or even 90 years old but when he starts speaking nonsense.

Operation Rescue writes about this case here.

Remember Abby and Brittany, the conjoined twins who graduated high school and now in college?

A few days ago we did a post on the first video. Apparently a second video is out.

First it was New Jersey, second it’s in Virginia.  I wonder what other videos might be out there of other Planned Parenthood’s wickedness?

They should open up a criminal investigation.

From the New York Times comes this news,

WASHINGTON — Federal drug regulators on Wednesday unveiled 36 proposed warning labels for cigarette packages, including one showing a toe tag on a corpse and another in which a mother blows smoke on her baby.

Designed to cover half the surface area of a pack or carton of cigarettes, and a fifth of any advertisements for them, the labels are intended to spur smokers to quit by providing graphic reminders of tobacco’s dangers. The labels are required under a law passed last year that gave the Food and Drug Administration the power to regulate, but not ban, tobacco products for the first time.

These images are not pleasant

Yet I wonder about the where those whose stance for these unpleasant pictures feel about having campaign pictures against the abortion industries that’s forced upon them by the government

It makes me wonder about it, especially with the sick world of Planned Parenthood who thinks abortion is cute that they have even offered “gift certificates”.

James Pouillon, a Prolife advocate, was murdered yesterday

Doesn’t seem like the news make this as big as the murder of George Tiller

The story can be found here: http://www.lifenews.com/state4410.html

Also from a local newspaper, an article was written: http://www.freep.com/article/20090911/NEWS06/90911020/1319/Pro-life-activist-shot-dead-near-Owosso-High

Will Pro-choice advocates denounce the murder of James Pouillon, like pro-life advocate denounce the murder of George Tiller?  Only time will tell.

Lila Rose, a prolife advocate and a rising young prolife leader, has exposed Planned Parenthood illegal activities through Project Mona Lisa.

Sadly, Youtube has been censoring the videos of her organization, Live Action.  As of to date, they have banned eight of her videos.

Jill Stanek’s commentary over at World Net Daily is insightful.  It can be read over here: http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=104699

An except:

YouTube allows almost any surgery video imaginable, like gastric bypass, gallbladder removal, toe amputation, appendectomy and brain tumor removal, and gross-out body parts videos like a buttock fecal fistula or peritoneal cancer – but not abortion.

Neither does YouTube have a problem with videos pertaining to the female anatomy like mastectomies, breast augmentations, hysterectomies or even baby deliveries – but not abortion, unless it is in the form of bloodless illustrations.

YouTube also seems to go out of its way to protect the abortion industry, particularly Planned Parenthood.

To date, YouTube has removed eight videos posted by Lila Rose and Live Action Films shot undercover at Planned Parenthoods in several states. In them Lila posed as a 13-year-old impregnated by her 31-year-old “boyfriend.” Videos show staffers trying to help cover up the illegal statutory rape and even offering to help Lila circumvent parental consent laws.

Live Action Films tried ever harder to abide by YouTube’s rule of maintaining privacy as well as its vague censorship catch-all: “If a video is particularly graphic or disturbing, it should be balanced with additional context and information.”

But it’s not only Planned Parenthood YouTube protects. It also provides cover-up for run-of-the-abortion-mill skanks.

Take Michigan late-term abortionist Alberto Hodari. Last year Citizens for a Pro-life Society filmed video of garbage retrieved from two of his dumpsters.

YouTube has videos posted of “the world’s biggest garbage dump” in the center of the Pacific Ocean as well as of a boy living in a huge garbage dump in India. YouTube even has video posted of a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation news team following dumpster divers on the hunt for food.

But CPLS’s video was of preborn human garbage Hodari’s staff illegally tossed, and for which Hodari was later fined by authorities, corroborating the video’s authenticity, or “context.” The video was up 10 months and received 25,000 views before being inexplicably removed.

YouTube allows graphic social justice videos pertaining to the Holocaust, slavery, the civil rights movement, Darfur and child sex trafficking. It allows graphic videos of wars throughout history.

But abortion, no.

As Monica Miller, head of CPLS told me, “How are you going to talk about abortion without it being disturbing? YouTube is a primary way we can compete in the United States with pro-abortion propaganda and have a voice.”

But social engineers at YouTube don’t want pro-lifers to have a visual voice.

Pro-life Pastor Walter Hoye of Berkeley, California, was ordered to serve 30 days in county jail by Judge Stuart Hing of the Alameda Superior Court.

wh1Hoye had been found guilty on January 15, 2009, of unlawfully approaching two persons entering an abortion clinic in Oakland. Judge Hing had also ordered him to stay one hundred yards away from the abortion clinic for three years. However, Walter Hoye refused this term of probation and would not agree to a stay-away order. Therefore, the judge denied the defense motion to stay the sentence pending appeal. Hoye was taken into custody from the courtroom.

At a hearing on February 19, Judge Hing stated that he had not intended to impose any fine or jail time on Hoye if he would agree to stay away from the abortion clinic. After Hoye refused to agree not to offer alternatives to abortion-minded women, Judge Hing imposed a 30-day sentence and $1130 fine.

Dozens in the African-American and pro-life communities from around the nation who came out in support of Pastor Hoye were outraged by the sentence. The consensus of these leaders is that it was a travesty that Pastor Hoye was found guilty in the first place for standing in the gap for black children targeted by the abortion industry.

“It is absolutely incredible that in America an individual can be sentenced to jail for engaging in peaceful free speech activity on a public sidewalk,” remarked Allison Aranda, Staff Counsel for Life Legal Defense Foundation. Aranda further stated, “Rev. Hoye is being singled out for particularly harsh punishment because he refused to agree not to offer help to women considering abortion. Where is the justice in that?”

Hoye is an African-American pastor who feels a special calling to work for the end of the genocide-by-abortion taking place in the African-American community. As part of his efforts, he stands in front of an abortion clinic in Oakland with leaflets offering abortion alternatives and a sign reading, “Jesus loves you and your baby. Let us help.” In response, the Oakland City Council passed an ordinance making it a crime to approach persons entering abortion clinics to offer alternatives to abortion. Approaching women to encourage them to enter the clinic is permitted, according to City policy.

According to 2004 statistics from the National Center for Health Statistics, about 37 percent of pregnancies of black women end in abortion, compared with 12 percent for non-Hispanic white women and 19 percent for Hispanic women.

LLDF Legal Director Catherine Short and attorney Mike Millen, who also represented Rev. Hoye at trial, are currently challenging the constitutionality of the ordinance on Hoye’s behalf in federal court. They are hopeful the ordinance will be struck down and Pastor Walter Hoye vindicated [article from here].
