Trump or Hillary?

“Of two evils, choose neither.” Charles H. Spurgeon

Disclaimer: voting for Trump does not mean you are not a believer. The atonement of Christ should not be contingent upon who one casts his or her ballot for concerning Trump. I still love you, but disagree with you.

At any rate, what are your thoughts on that quote from Spurgeon?  When it comes to Trump and Hillary, I will not abide to this philosophy: “vote for the lesser of two evils.” I must admit, I do think we need to be more nuanced when explaining this concept of the lesser of two evils and be as accurate as possible because people perceive it from different angles.  That way, it could clear-up the airwaves. The statement can become more cumbersome when discussing it in context of politics. That is why having a biblical worldview is vital. Moreover, the glory of Christ is at stake.

With that said, some will view Trump and Hillary as equally evil because they are both pro-abortion and pro-gay. Therefore, the lesser of two evils does not apply here. Therefore, one is advised to not vote for either Hillary or Trump.  Biblically speaking, both are totally depraved and show no evidence of salvation.  So in that sense, both are equally evil.  Both stand condemned before Christ and both equally need Him.  Make no mistake, both are wicked candidates. But one could probably make an argument of which evil from the two candidates is more pervasive and how are we to see it in light of Scripture and how should we approach “the lesser of two evils?”

Now, when employing it in the political environment, a different vernacular  arises and that is where the lesser of two evils becomes relevant to the discussion and can also lead to different interpretations. One could probably argue that Trump, in general is lesser of an evil when it comes to Planned Parenthood because he has said, that there should be no funding of abortions for P.P., whereas Hillary would advocate for the funding of P.P. Either way, both candidates perpetuate the cycle of abortion by not prosecuting abortion.  Practical ramifications vary in different degrees, but morally, both are in the wrong. Governing authorities are responsible for wielding the sword of justice for society. The Imago Dei should be protected because bloodshed is not a light matter.  Our government has failed in that area.

As for Hillary, it is self-evident as to why I will not be voting for her. As for Trump, I can not consciously vote for a man who approves of men using girls’ bathrooms, loves Planned Parenthood (child-sacrifice center, murder mill) for their other services while being okay with them running as a hegemony, blasphemer of Christ by calling oneself a Christian while slandering the Gospel, and a deceiver (judgment starts at household of God first). What has the philosophy of voting for the so-called lesser of two evils contribute to our nation?  Our nation has slowly turned its back against God when it compromises God’s morality. A little gagging of God is enough to impregnant the nation with sinful seeds that would eventually produce havoc later.

Trump and Hilary are both immoral choices and I will not utilize moral gymnastics for a vote for wickedness because some deem the other choice to being less worse (open to interpretation I guess). I liken the lesser of two evils here concerning Trump and Hillary with a doctor that is forced to wrestle with either performing the dark art of utero-infanticide or murder outside the womb (euthanasia).  I think abortion is worse, but both are destructive to society and must all be avoided at all costs. When presented with both, he must reject them all because it does violence to the Imago Dei.

We still deteriorate morally as a nation when the lesser of the two evils are applied (however that lesser of two evils looks like varies); and the implications of upholding the lesser of two evils can be catastrophic.  It could give rise to the likes of future dictators. Does Stalin, Hitler, or Mao Zedong come to mind? How so? The lesser of two evils has never sealed or prevented the Hitlers of the world. I think it slowly becomes a breeding ground for us to slowly slide into the evil that is being acceptable and normative over time. Will we be like Israel who trusted in foreign alliances and relied upon the strength of horses and chariots, instead of the sovereign words of Christ?

Can we employ the ability to resist the temptation for an immediate reward (deferred gratification)? Trump promises with this slogan: “Make America Great Again.” That belief is a lie. Only a culture that cherishes the Gospel can make America great again.

At any rate, God’s anger will not be appeased when the institutional celebration of so-called gay marriage and child sacrifice is still in operation.

I can’t control this political system we have, and I will not approve or foster the perpetuation of moral deterioration, but I do know that I am called to uphold righteousness that comprises of defending the voiceless and oppressed. I will not operate under the guise of political pragmatism when there is gross and perpetual immorality being celebrated by our inconsistent two-party system.

Christ, is my King and I will bow my knees to Him, even at the expense of personal comfort. I am thankful for the freedom we have here, but upholding righteousness is more viable for me.

Church, Wake Up

“The Christian world is in a deep sleep; nothing but a loud shout can awaken them out of it.” ~ George Whitefield

It does appear that many churches of USA is in a deep sleep.  While many are steeped in entertainment, many souls are dying and will be going to hell today, tomorrow, and the next subsequent days.  This is not a guilt trip to condemn one from enjoying the common things of life.  We are thankful to the Lord that He would allow us to enjoy aspects of His creative acts. But here is the question, when was the last time I exposed evil and shared the Gospel?  Have I become apathetic? Earth is the closest to heaven for the unbeliever and earth is the closest to hell for the believer.  Since we have the immortal blessings provided for us, we must press hard before the return of Christ so that unbelievers may have the opportunity to come to into the celestial kingdom of salvation. Why must the church awaken from its sleep?

1) Sinners dying without Christ will burn in hell FOREVER AND EVER. “It is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). There will be no second opportunities for salvation when unbelievers are buried six-feet deep. There is no return to the tranquility of life upon earth. We must preach the Gospel to humanity. How can they hear without a preacher?

2) False teachers around us and goats congregating among the sheep.  These false teachers are wicked and they know no bounds.  Apostle Paul warned of them.  We must protect the sheep from them because they will spare no one.  Acts 20:29, “‘I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.'”

3) The lives of 61 million babies have been terminated by murder mills since Roe v Wade’s decision. We are called to be a voice for the voiceless. Apathy is a sin (James 1:27).  As Christ visited us in our distress, may we visit these poor orphans who are in great distress.  They are covered in amniotic fluid so we are unable to hear their screams.  Folks, we have a silent holocaust right before our eyes.  We must see each baby, one-by-one being butchered and chemically killed by murderers who worship the god of convenience and self-pleasure.

4) The celebration of so-called gay marriage. Our country is officially a sodomite country since the Supreme Court’s decision (Romans 1:26-27).  The attack against marriage is an attack against the Gospel.  Apostle Paul mentioned in Ephesians 5 concerning the mystery of marriage.  Marriage is an illustration of the Gospel.

5) The lack of laborers in the mission field. How come we can be so passionate about leisure, but not evangelism here and abroad? Count Zinzendorf said, “Every heart with Christ is a missionary, every heart without Christ is a mission field.” Charles Spurgeon said, “Every Christian is either a missionary or an imposter.” There are senders, goers, and supporters. Everyone of them will have scarred hands. Cf. Matt. 26:16-20; Rom. 10:14.

6) Christians will have to give an account to God for what they have done on earth–“not” a condemnatory judgement (Jn 5:24; Rom. 8:1).

7) The destitute situation of widows, orphans, and the poor (Luke 4:18-19).

8) Racial discrimination in our country. It must first be dealt with in the church.

9) The lack of discernment and knowledge of God’s Word is epidemic. Biblical and historical Christianity is frowned upon by professing Christians. They are more perilous than unbelievers.

10) The love of money is worshiped (1 Timothy 6:10). Money can be used for His glory and can also be used for great evil. Jesus spoke more about money than about heaven and hell.

11) The immorality of broken marriages. God “hates” divorce (Malachi 2:16; Luke 16:18). Let us not sugarcoat what He says about marriage.

12) Pray for the persecuted church. Hebrews 13:3, “Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body.” ~ NASB

The list goes on….

I pray that this small sample of God’s Word being proclaimed near a murder mill would be an encouragement to your soul. Rise up, beloved church.  You are in my prayers.

This past Thursday at PP was a blessing. I had two long extended conversations with a new security guard named John and a PP patient named Betty. John was the first security guard that was the most open concerning Christianity. He asked me a few questions concerning sin and was teachable. He even took some Gospel literature. As for Betty, she was challenged on the immorality of neutrality when it came to serving Christ and one’s identity in Him. I pleaded with her to embrace the true teachings of Christianity because she is not guaranteed another day to live. Her life is under the sovereignty of God. Often, I attempt to stress clearly the Gospel and its demands because there are many professing Christians who walk into PP’s gates of slaughter who are supportive of the pro-choice idolatry. Some are not vocal, but apathetic, and neutral, which are marks of Satan. Please pray for both of them. I explained the danger of participating in the unfruitful deeds of darkness and the need of Christians exposing darkness. I pray that God would transfer them out from the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of His beloved Son. May they one day see the radiant beams of the Gospel if they have not done so yet.  In the near future, I plan to write a piece that will provide suggestions and tips on how one can minister at a murder mill.

I am thankful to my Holy God, who would make such a creature as I to not only know him intimately, but to be used as a slave for His glory (Rom. 1:1).  God is glorified when His attributes that are essential to understanding the Gospel is not ignored.  He is not only a loving God, but is the God who sees sin as an abominable thing that He abhors.  We made that known yesterday.  His holiness, justice, and love was magnified.

While I was preaching, one particular lady who professed to be a Christian openly lashed out on me with unwholesome words that any Christian would be ashamed of mentioning in the public, let alone in the secret.  She acted worse than some unbelievers I know.  She was openly pro-choice and demonstrated an attitude of apathy to the little defenseless children who are murdered.  I hope that she will mourn over her sin against Christ.  May His Spirit via the Gospel usher her into the kingdom of Christ.  I love her and care for her soul.  The more you know, the more responsible you will be before the Judge.  Hebrews 10:29 states, “How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?”  Yes, the grace of Christ was trampled when his holiness and justice was swept under the rug by a professing Christian that was unwilling to demonstrate humility and contrition.

Yesterday was quite different from Tuesday.  Instead of being in solitude, Pastor Luke and Russell accompanied me at the murder mill.  Russell was holding some signs, passed out Gospel tracts, and pleaded with a few people to not go into PP for their services.  Pastor Luke blessed us with a message from Psalm 139 that he preached at PP.

The grace of God was seen that day.  Two people left PP.  Two people (both a male and a female) who walked into the doors of PP, later came out and expressed their dissatisfaction with PP.  They agreed with our message.  Praise God for peeling back the layer of evil for them to behold.  Please pray that they will know Christ if they have not done so yet.

Furthermore, I had the honor of preaching two major points that were stemmed from Matthew 22:42, “What do you think about the Christ, whose son is He?” They said to Him, “The son of David.”  The two major points were conveyed indispensable necessity of the divinity and humanity of Christ because of the sinful condition of man.

Next Tuesday, there will be a national Pink Out for Planned Parenthood.  I suppose that there will be some pro-choice advocates at certain cities for their PP rally.  Instead of wearing pink, they should be wearing red because the reality is that babies are murdered under the idoltary of convenience and the demonic doctrine of pro-choice that has led to slaughter of around 61 million innocent babies since 1973’s Roe v Wade ruling.

Proverbs 28:17, “A man who is laden with the guilt of human blood Will be a fugitive until death; let no one support him.”

Proverbs 6:16-19, “These six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him: a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren”

Psalm 9:12, “For He who requires blood remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the afflicted.”

Here is one sample video for your edification.  I am a Christian, but….

DNA abortion invalid

I still have to give an update from this past Thursday. In short, from Thursday, God’s Word, His song of salvation, was uttered to a young woman named Nancy. The vile monster called sin was confronted and exposed to her before sharing the good news. Nancy was very open and teachable. She even asked questions, and did not challenege any of God’s Word. She was thankful and stated that she learned a lot about the Gospel that day. The power of sin is strong. Please pray that the miracle of regeneration will occur if it did not become a reality yet.

Today, my brother Jimmy and myself made our way to PP in Pasadena–another notorious site that was exposed by The Center for Medical Progress for harvesting and selling baby parts. As we drove towards PP and did a little reconaissance; there was barely anyone there. As a result, we decided to go to the PP murder mill at El Monte near Jimmy’s church where he pastors.

There was much apathy by many while ministering there. Even the security guard named George who was engaged with us openly in a conversation (who seemed disturbed as we explained PP’s crime) in the beginning, switched to another mode as time progressed. From a cordial conversation in the beginning, he now completely shut off. He refused to speak even one word to us. He was hardened. However, Jimmy and I resumed the Gospel ministry by preaching on a few ocassions. The guard who was hardened heard all of the messages. While we preached, the El Monte Police Dept. came because they received a call stating that we were harassing people–which is a farce. The conversation with the officer was positive. There were no points of contention. Thus we resumed.

I also had the opportunity to speak briefly to a young woman named Brenda who was in tears. She was standing near a pillar near us. I saw her in distress. As a result, I approached her while Jimmy was preaching in front of PP. Not sure why she was in tears, but I gave her some Gospel literature and she willingly took it. We told her we are here to help. Please pray that the literature would convict her.

By God’s grace, we had our first conversation with a PP worker who took our Gospel tract. That is first time a worker took a Gospel literature from my experience. But what was distressing was her confession. She said she is a Christian. As she walked away, we challenged her thinking and warn her of the grave crimes against God by associating with a organization that unashamedly murders babies. It is clear what PP stands for: the idolatry of Pro-Choice. But she refused to engage and continued walking away to her car.

We also had an opportunity to share the Gospel with an employee from LabCorp, named Steve. They provide services to PP. He confessed that he is Catholic and is against abortion. Please pray that he will submit to the Gospel.

I was blessed to partner up with Pastor Jimmy today. May this excursion be the catylyst to encourage the other church members to join him in this missionary endeavor. I was blessed not only to preach alongside him, but also pray soberly for the lost. The lost who if they die without Christ, will spend eternity in Hell. The lost who if they die without Christ will experience a perpetual guilt for all eternity. May the glory of Christ’s message save the people we came in contact with today. May they drink of the redemptive drops of His grace. As always, thank you for interceding via prayer to our Savior and Lord for us.

Babies Are Murdered Here

On September 15, 2015, while at  PP, I was reminded of the misery of evil and the nature of sin. When you minister at these murder mills you can’t come there with empty shells filled with dust, but you must be a vessel that is filled by the Holy Spirit. Your heart needs to be enlarged and affections for Christ need to be the epicenter. Otherwise, Christ is not exalted.

At any rate, besides one angry response from one young lady, who I think called the police on me (4th time they have been called), the most distressing situation today was a young couple who went inside for an abortion. The young man gave me back my tract after I asked if he was going inside for an abortion. His apathy and coldness for the child that was about to be murdered precipitated a righteous anger (not sinful anger) in me. As a result, I was impelled to open-air preach, which I normally do not do when I am alone. But I had to do it since I had info. that this poor child was going to be sacrificed on the bloody altar of convenience via the poison capsule.

Another sad state of affairs is the steep ignorance of PP patients. For example, one patient told me that they do not do abortions here. I told her to go to their website. It is very clear. They offer abortion services by encouraging the ladies who are pregnant to take the poison capsule. They take it orally and vaginally. Paitients are either lied to, ignorant, or refuse to aknowledge the truth. Moreover, on a few ocassions I have heard from a few people that PP encourages abortion if you are struggling economically, young, etc.

As for the positives, I had three grace-given conversations. One was with the business owner near PP who owned a tabacco shop. I am continuing to build a relationship with him. We continued our conversation. We covered demon possession, Mary veneration, and the Gospel. He also said he would like to teach me a few words in Arabic. Praise God because that will be handy when ministering to Muslims. The other conversation was with a mother who walked out from PP. She joyfully took one of our ministry packets after our extensive conversation.

The last conversation was with another young lady named Audrey. We had an extensive conversation on abortion and most importantly the Gospel. After the conversation we closed in prayer. Praise God because she decided not to go inside PP. Please pray that she will desire to communicate with one of the sisters in our church. Thank you all for praying.
