Our text is from the Greek translation of Matthew 5:8.  Here is my translation:

“μακάριοι οἱ καθαροὶ τῇ καρδίᾳ
Blessed are the pure in heart

ὅτι αὐτοὶ τὸν θεὸν ὄψονται ”
Because they will see God

Our text is from the Greek translation of Matthew 5:7  Here is my translation:

“μακάριοι οἱ ἐλεήμονες,
Blessed are the merciful

ὅτι αὐτοὶ ἐλεηθήσονται. ”
because they will receive mercy

“μακάριοι οἱ πεινῶντες καὶ διψῶντες τὴν δικαιοσύνην
Blessed are those who are hungry and those who are thirsty for righteousness

ὅτι αὐτοὶ χορτασθήσονται ”
Because they shall be satisfied
