We get to read inspiring and informative messages from our brothers and sisters in the Lord and we get to pass along some Scriptural truths we have learned and how they have impacted our lives. Over the years, many bloggers have blessed me personally and there’s some that have become my friends. We share our joys and challenges and regularly lift up each other in prayer. Most of us Christian bloggers consider our blogs as a ministry to reach out to the lost with the Gospel and encourage the brethren.

My wife and I currently lead a small group bible study for college students and the topic of dating came up. It was with great trepidation that I even entertained the thought of devoting an entire evening’s conversation to such a topic, however felt the need to address what I later learned were relevant and serious questions. In the end, we spent very little time talking specifically about dating because I realized so many of their questions had a deeper question behind them.

Note: This is a guest post since presently I am overseas.  This is by  Scott Sullivan. Scott is a slave to Christ and husband to his wife, Angie. He is an artist and writer, living in the beautiful countryside of Lancaster, PA,  where he wrote his first book diving into his life as an adoptee on a journey of faith, family, and belonging.. Christians, have you realized that the Great commission from Jesus requires you to disciples others?  How are you doing with this task?  If you realize that command is for you and that making disciples of others is the most important thing you ever would do in light of eternity you would see it as a great responsibility and privilege to be discipling others.  Yet how do you go about making disciples?  This book is helpful in answering that questions.  It was definitely helpful for me and wife to read this as our evening devotion and spiritual discussions after the kids are asleep.
