Thanks for the listing! I found the “Why ‘Human Progress’ Never Supplies Meaning” article interesting although I wish evangelicals would use other sources than Aquinas to make their points. It’s fascinating to see in history the various movements that sought to achieve an ideal society: the 19th century Utopian Communities in the Northeast, Marxism, Social Darwinism, League of Nations/United Nations, etc. I was a witness to the highly anticipated (at least among the youth culture) “Age of Aquarius” back in the 1960s. Of course, the idealism never pans out.
All isms that hold to a utopian vision as a substitute for the New Jerusalem fail to account for man’s sin and capable of killing millions and billions.
All updated variations of the Tower of Babel.
