Update on Blog (Theme and Picture)

We have been experimenting with the different blog themes available and the picture on the header. This blog theme with the two columns seems to fit what we are doing here well. The posting column is large enough for reading and the extra column is small enough for links that ought not to distract from the postings.

The picture on the header from left to right,

1. The stoning of Steven

2. The crucifixion of Peter

3. The beheading of Paul

Instead I find myself studying about evolution, and the support for evolution in the first chapter of the textbook. Listening to lectures covering fossils such as “Java man” and “Lucy”, and watching a full hour or so of a DVD from the History Channel about the 1850’s to present search for the missing link.

I haven’t had a chance to study any of it yet but feel overloaded with more and more things to research and refute. I’ve been writing some paragraphs in my lecture notes on the side and with possible leads for future study. However, I am still trying to catch up to my school work. Hopefully this weekend, I’ll write a bit of what I’ve been thinking about as a post.

This coverage of Evolution has increased my desire to study a biblical view of anthropology and geology but it’ll probably have to wait till after I graduate.

I post it up for the purpose to show how ignorant the average Americans can be.

As Christians, we ought to be informed and not be ignorant of the world around us.

James White during the “DIVIDING LINE” announced that he will be planning to work on his PHD on Islamic Studies.

He also discusses during the show why he is pursuing this and puts into perspective why it would be important that he is doing this.  To this I agree.

We can all pray for him, as this would be busy for his ministry (as if it’s not already, with all his responses to everybody from Arminians to Liberalism and the Cults.
