This is a discussion about Presuppositional apologetics. It is between Eli Ayala a presuppositionalist and another presuppositionalist name Dr. Chris Bolt. Eli interviewed Chris Bolt and Eli’s ministry is called Revealed Apologetics. Chris Bolt has a doctorate from Southern Seminary in apologetics. He runs Lighting Apologetics here. Dr. Bolt is probably best know for being one of the contributors over at Choosing Hats. He currently blogs here.
Here’s the discussion on Youtube below.
This discussion is about theological systems, apologetics’ methodology, worldview thinking, what is Presuppositional apologetics, etc. There’s a discussion about Cornelius Van Til, it also provides responses to common objections, and the Transcendental Argumentation and the Presuppositionalists’ Transcendental Argument (or family of arguments). I appreciated Bolt’s nuances concerning what is natural theology and Presuppositional apologetics.
Having said this I know some might need an introduction first to Presuppositonal apologetics. Check out our Ultimate Collection of Free Presuppositional Apologetics Lectures. Especially for consideration are the lectures by Jason Lisle on there.

Looks like a great resource. Saved it to listen to later.
Blessings.

Thank you.
You’re welcome. Also thank you for updating us about Danielle’s condition. I just prayed for her health again and praying in light of it possibly being Lupus
Thank you. Prayer is the answer to all things.
Dr. Chris Bolt is pretty neat, Slim. There’s a lot of ugliness on social media so it’s really encouraging when you find people willing to be kind and sensible.
Yes. Wow you have heard of Dr. Bolt before? I also appreciate him calling out those who misrepresent other Christians but he’s been maligned badly for what he’s done to refute slander. The piece by P&P (if you have heard of them) was very unfair and seems intentional in misrepresenting him. It is encouraging to find kind, sensible and yet biblical Christian interactions on social media!
Well, I “stalk” him on social media, I read his blogs, and I watch how he interacts kindly with people, his integrity in always standing up for what is right even if it’s unpopular within our own tribe. I learn a few things from him now and then too, but mostly just how important our Christian witness is, that how we treat even the difficult people is critical, it is a ministry all by itself. Apologetics are important, but it’s our character, that fruit of the spirit that really tells the story of the gospel.
Oh wow, this looks very interesting thank you for sharing it brother!
Thanks! I’m going to listen to this today when I walk the dog although my knees always get a little shaky when he see “Cornelius Van Til.”
This one might be a lot more technical but I appreciate this one since it irons out more of the questions people have once they get deeper into Presup apologetics and the more complex objections. Speaking of online listening while you walks I need to finish loading my final Ruth sermon in our Ruth series which is probably more practical for your walks. I think you heard nearly all of what we uploaded? Got to do it tonight! We have been getting a lot of audio downloads lately of what we have up online.
I listened to the first half-hour and, I’m sorry brother, but it was too technical for me. My knees buckled and I fell down in the street when they mentioned Van Til! And I fell down again when they favorably cited C. S. Lewis! 😁 Yup, I’m all caught up with your Ruth sermons that are posted.
