Congratulations for reaching a milestone, Jim! GOD will reward you in heaven. Praying for you, pastor, as you will address/refute/clarify more contradictions all in the glory of GOD. In JESUS’ name, all the best for the next milestone! And you should write a book on this.
Thank you for this encouragement! I should consider a book but I need to edit my grammar lol. Thank you for your prayers for my response to these contradictions. How may I pray for you?
I volunteer my editing skills free of charge!
Aww really?
For sure! I have said previously I would edit your work. Just email me!
Thank you, Jim, for the offer of prayer! I appreciate it. I’ll let you know.
Thanks for the work put into these. I particularly like the resolution of “Was Jesus homeless?”
Thanks for coming by and reading them. I enjoyed working on the “Was Jesus Homeless?” post. How is your area with everything going on (virus and political unrest)? For us last night was quiet compared to two nights ago. Virus infection rate is down.
As far as I can tell, things are calm on both fronts here. The one problem over the weekend has been the failure of the cooling system during a Houston heat wave (only high 90’s for both temperatures and humidity — when the devil figures out how to cause greater than 100% humidity, that’s when the trouble will commence).
I can assist in editing from South Africa
Oh, but that meme! 😂
Thank you for this post, Jim!!
Wow! Congrats on such a wonderful milestone. Thanks for you diligence in making this happen.
Blessings.
That’s quite an accomplishment Jim, well done and thank you! Blessings.
Thanks for all your support. How are you doing Bruce? The virus is going down in my area but crime and unrest’s seems to be increasing, maybe one of these days after this is over I can share with you the things that has happened.
Hi Jim, We’ve been doing very good here throughout all of Nova Scotia, very few new cases during the last two months, most days are totally clear. Schools are getting ready for reopening so we’ll see how that goes. Still wearing masks and distancing etc. I would think you been pretty busy, deep breaths and follow those priorities as the Holy Spirit leads. Blessings brother.
Reblogged this on a simple man of God and commented:
God’s Word is consistent and true.
Excellent resource. Thanks a bunch. Shared this on the Midwest RF Twitter.
Reblogged this on clydeherrin.
Great job, Jim! I know this isn’t easy but oh how much you learn about the faith and hope you profess! Love and blessings to you, Nancy and girls!
Wow I guess I turned off my laptop before I submit “comment” thanks for your encouragement. I plan next week or so to write a post “Don’t Waste your Bible contradiction” with your point of how it has been edifying to dig through the Word of God! Wanted to show some applications to my lives in loving God more after doing a hundred fifty of them. Curious sister if you ever want to write a guest post for our blog? Two weeks from now I might be blogging less for a few days.
I look forward to reading that post!! I would love to guest post, do you have a topic?!
Wow 150 is no small feat
Wow, bravo! With all the arguing these days over which political party is lying, it’s a much better use of our time and passion to be defending the Word of God.
Amen! How we struggle to keep the focus of the Lord’s work at hand! Amen sister! How are you doing in your part of the country, seems there’s everything going on (storms, winds, economic problems, virus, destruction, etc)?
This has been a crazy summer in Michigan – rising waters, new seawall, visits from family complicated by Covid, and most recently, our little dog attacked by a very large dog.
Seawall is finished, family is visiting, and Mr. Hollywood is recovering from his injuries, and his attacker will no longer be out and about on our road. (Funny how a police officer showing up at your door makes one finally take something seriously.) Bottom line: all is well. 🙂
Excellent resource! Thanks for your faithfulness in addressing these alleged contradictions! I pray the Lord uses this list and series to bless many souls.
You’re welcome! You know how it is to refute something, it takes so much time compared to those who are merely asserting things. How is your day thus far?
Yup, it definitely takes longer to research and write a refutation.
Slow day today, worked on the last window and some odds and ends. How’s your day going?
Wow! What an amazing list! Thanks for posting this and putting this together SlimJim 😊
Congratulations on your milestone pastor Jim. Wow ! Great accomplishment.
That’s 150 case of the atheist failure to rightly interpret the Word, going against 2 Timothy 2:15
Apparently, WordPress is redirecting my hits on the ‘like’ button to a blank page. In any event, Jim, I like this 150 times! 🙂
Sorry for all the problem and difficulty that WordPress is giving you with liking posts! Horrible it is doing that though I’m glad you can comment; actually I like comments more than likes on posts haha. You’ve been with me for so long through many of these posts refuting these contradictions, I’m just glad you have been a friend and brother on WordPress all these years. When you don’t comment for a season during those times I do pray for your health and well being. Thanks brother for your support!
Thanks to you as well, Jim! Sorry I didn’t answer earlier, but I’m going through medical tests this week, and have to travel 100 miles for the procedures. Got another one tomorrow so I might not be able to get in touch until Thursday. Thanks for all the prayers and support!
Congrats man. Thanks for refuting these lies. I hope you are doing well
Thank you so much brother how are you doing? Good seeing you on WordPress again, working tonight?
Yep. I try to put up a post as much as I can. Some weeks are bette than others lol. I’m doing ok. I ended up having to get stitches the other day after I lost a battle with a hedge trimmer and a ladder lol. But im fine though

Hey there. These are really smartly
written article. I’ll make sure to bookmark it and return to read these many links. I guess God’s Word is relevant for the critics of the Bible:
“Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.”
Proverbs 17:28 ESV

Love your meme!
Be aware of the fact that they use the same vocabulary term “contradiction” but with different dictionaries. Learn how they get the definition of contradiction wrong!
Thanks for the helpful post! I do have a question regarding a possible contradiction that I don’t see listed here. It is related to Mark 2 and 1 Samuel 21. In Mark 2 it talks about David and his companions eating the bread, but in 1 Samuel it seems like David was alone when fleeing, so how could his companions eat the bread? Is there a contradiction here?
Good question. I take 1 Samuel 21 to be David’s initial encounter with the priest David was alone and the Gospels account of David being with others is David later having his men also eat. I’ll take a fuller look and write a post on it either next week or the following week if that’s ok? Normally with these I take a long time looking at the original languages and context as I don’t want to give it a knee jerk response. The one alleged contradiction that is probably the most well known and discussed from 1 Samuel 21 is this one because Ehrman talks about it often which I responded to here: https://veritasdomain.wordpress.com/2018/02/06/bible-contradiction-when-david-fled-to-nob-what-was-the-priests-name/
You can’t drive a wedge between the Bible and logic without distorting one or both.
When atheists say there is a Bible contradiction it is actually a ploy to steal attention from truth in God’s perfect WORD!!! Rest assured in Christ Jesus ONLY! The skeptic annotated Bible stands for the very fabric of evil and wickedness. There is treachery afoot! Dare I say… A trick of the mind, heart and soul of Wicked men who prey on feeble hearts and weak eyes…. Search your hearts and call out to the Living God of creation!!!! He is the WAY! He is the Truth! He is the life giving source to the irrefutable draw towards that which our minds have ALWAYS sought out………. Our origin. Yes my fellow man, it is in the son of our creator that we must run, full sprint… Claw our way towards through this heaping world of dismal decay and destruction. Skeptic Annotated Bible…There is a specific design for correcting the devil’s attempts to steal what is God’s own…. And it will burn eternally. Beware the false prophets. You will know them by their deeds.
Oh, this list is gonna be fun…
Minor discrepancies are not good evidence for the historical non-reliability of the Bible. The question is: Are there major discrepancies in the Bible?

That is an important question
Good! 😮💨😍
